About Ya'el Bella

originally from Israel, I am a professional Belly Dance performer and teacher with more then 10 years of experience in teaching. Teaching and performing dance is my passion and I love to see my students grow! I got all my training from the middle east, learning from the best teachers. In addition, I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology and currently perusing my dream to become a dance therapist.

About the lesson

I teach a style called Belly Dance Fusion which is a mix of Traditional Belly Dance, Persian Dance and Tribal Fusion. You set the pace and the goals! I encourage my students to come up with their own specific inner goal for learning dance. It can be anything! "getting to know my body" or "dealing with my shyness" or "channeling my femininity". everything works! that way you have a goal that motivates you to keep dancing and getting better.

Perfect! INCREDIBLE INSTRUCTOR! If your looking for professional belly dance teacher Ya’el is the best! She breaks down movements very well and adds new moves at a great pace. I appreciate the mirrors at her studio they are very helpful to watch yourself and match her movements. She is patient, kind and gorgeous too! Very fun class and GREAT workout. I think my abs are melting fat off fast with all the movements haha a big bonus!

I didn't think I could belly dance at all but wanted to try- Yael's class was mixed of girls with experience and beginners and I always felt comfortable. She made it easy to learn, and also challenged us. I had so much fun, the music she chose was beautiful and I can now say I can belly dance (even if just beginner). I learned not only how to dance, but also express myself through belly dancing. I can't wait for her next classes!
