About Leo

Hi! My name is Leo and i'm a professional Bass Player and musician from Sheffield. I've been playing the bass with bands and artists on stages and in studios all over the world for over 15 years now.

When I first picked up the bass I was lucky enough to have a teacher that not only taught me everything I needed to know to begin my journey through music but inspired me to push myself and learn more about the instrument and above all have fun.

I would love to help others to have the start in playing bass that I had and find out what music and the bass means to them.

I can help you learn everything you need to know about the instrument. From beginner to more advanced. Techniques and practices, tone advice, crafting bass lines, equipment, listening material. Whatever you need to help you continue on your journey of playing the bass!

About the lesson

When learning any instrument it's important to make sure that we not only understand the fundamentals and discipline but that we also have an understand how to put what we've learned into practice and to do so with personality and creativity.
My aim with my students is to work together to set a series of goals that will not only teach them the things that are integral to the instrument such as technique, theory, timing but how we can use these to be a well rounded musician with flair and individuality.
