About Louis
I've had experience of working with students with additional needs as I was previously a teaching assistant at an SEN secondary school, which helped me to support students on a one to one basis in topics such as Maths and English. I also have a younger brother that has autism and I have supported him throughout the years in both an academic and personal sense. I'm currently a Behaviour Support Mentor in an alternative provision for children aged 11 to 16, which includes working with students that have a variety of complex needs. Alongside work I am studying a degree in Sports and History through the open university (BSc Open degree) in order to gain my QTS in the future. My experience and qualifications have put me in a great position to support students in online tutoring.

I absolutely love teaching and helping students to reach their full potential. I tailor my lessons in line with the needs of the student, getting to know them on a personal level is highly important in order to achieve. I have a patient approach and want to help my students in feeling comfortable and more confident after every lesson. I offer different strategies of teaching which can support aspects of learning such as verbal communication, writing, numbers and behavioural strategies. In addition to this I provide tutoring support in history up to GCSE level. I ensure all of my lessons are engaging and provide versatility with each session.
