Hi there! Laine here - professional theater artist, educator, and nerd.
Arts education made me who I am today, and my favorite thing in life is passing those lessons on to other students and inspiring them to pursue their creativity. My specialties are Shakespeare and classical performance, acting for musical theater, stage combat, and dialect work.
If you're a young artist who wants to prepare for an audition, spruce up a monologue, add a little special something to your 16-bar cut, practice a British accent, or talk about a play you're reading in school, I'd love to work with you!

Laine uses a playful and interdisciplinary approach to encourage confidence, exploration, and creativity in her students. With her background in both neuroscience and theater, she understands and harnesses the mind-body connection to maximize growth outcomes. Games and physical exercises are often a secret key to getting a student out of their head and into their body - into a creative flow state where ideas can flourish (and sometimes fail! That's important too!)
Classes with Laine are for any young theater artist who wants to develop their craft. She teaches all levels, from beginner to advanced. Lessons offered include:
