About Luke
I am a professional actor and musician. I have performed in tours, on cruise ships and in theatres in the West End. I have a BA in Musical Theatre from TrinityLaban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
I have taught one-on-one and group lessons for about 10 years now. I have students that have gone on to work professionally in bands and in the theatre industry.

I am a very patient and understanding teacher. Learning music or an instrument is a skill that can be very rewarding but requires a lot of hard work. Having been through the process several times learning to sing, play guitar, flute and piano and also music theory, I understand the need for encouragement and patience above all.
Like learning a new language, in music, repetition is important. The term 'practice makes perfect' is certainly not wrong! I encourage my students to discover instead of being told the answer as I think it helps with a deeper level of understanding in the long run.

I have a cancellation policy that requires at least 24 hours notice for a cancellation. Cancelling within 24 hours or failure to appear will be charged at half the hourly rate.
