About Amira
I am an Oil & gas Engineer and chemical engineering graduate. I have experience teaching secondary school maths and also do online one-on-one mentoring/tutoring. I have taught maths and sciences to girls and boys from age 10 up to age 18.

My teaching method focuses on growing the child's confidence and giving the student the confidence to attempt to answer the questions by themselves before asking for help. I have a patient approach and tend to go through examples and then give the student free reign to try some practice questions themselves. I encourage students to have a go, even if they think they will make mistakes as this is how they learn.
