About Luan
Background: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics at Texas A&M. Worked as a Data Analytic Intern at Caterpillar and as a Internal Control Analyst Intern at Enterprise Product. I’m attending Mays Business school for my Master in Finance and will be graduating in May 2021.
Experience: My tutoring journey started early in my first year of college when I only tutored High School Math and College Algebra. Now I have 5 years experience in tutoring all High School Math up to Calculus. I understand mathematical concepts deeply and is very effective at explaining them. I have solid tutoring experience and an lots of patience. I have helped so many students in the past and they all had a positive experience from me. I'm looking forward to helping you.

My teaching method is to build up strong fundamentals in a mathematical topic for my students before expanding those fundamentals in more advanced problems. A lot of times, the root of the students struggle is not having strong fundamentals which led them to wonder how they got to where they are. I am certain in my ability to teach and explain to help my students reach the best understanding of the topic and build their confidence.
