About Maria
I am a high school graduate and freshman at Emory University in Atlanta. I have been playing piano since I was 5 and hope to share my love for the instrument with children who are curious what music is all about!

I teach my students (Recommended age 5-12) elementary piano skills, involving repertoire, technique, sight reading, and by-ear playing. In one lesson (Either 30 minutes or One Hour) I break down my materials in order to show my student how they should practice in their own time.
My teaching technique also involved allowing my students to choose any song, which we will learn over the course of our lessons by listening and breaking apart the sections. This method (which is only a part of a lesson) allows the student to learn compositional skills as well as getting a feel for individuality within music.
