About David
I am a Grade 12 IB (International Baccalaureate) student with a current GPA of 4.85/5 (weighted). I'm a dedicated and passionate student seeking a summer tutoring job to apply previous tutoring experience and academic proficiency in all subjects, and to further my leadership and interpersonal skills.
Some of my qualifications:
· Adept at tutoring elementary school students and creating study materials for math and English.

I have been tutoring elementary school students (grades 1 and 6) for 1 year online, and thus am very familiar with tutoring on online platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet. I am also available for in-person tutoring in the Aurora (Ontario) region. My schedule is flexible as I am available any day of the week. I am offering SUMMER online & in-person tutoring for grades 1-10 in math, English, and science. This can be helping your child with homework, school assignments, or outside work. I'm an enthusiastic and patient tutor who can help your child improve their grades, or even go beyond their level.
Here are my qualifications in math, English, and science:
Math: I have finished SL Mathematics with a course average of 95%. I have also studied for and competed in multiple math contests, achieving School Champion in the Fryer Contest and qualifying for the AIME by attaining distinction at the American Mathematics Competitions.
English: I am taking HL English, with a current average of 97%. I have also studied for and taken the AP Language and Composition Exam. Additionally, I have been doing competitive debating for over 2 years, which has strengthened my persuasive and argumentative skills in writing and speaking.
Science: I am proficient in all three strands of science -- finished SL Physics (95% average), taking HL Chemistry (99% average), and Grade 11 Biology (96%). I have also participated in chemistry and physics contests, achieving distinction in the Avogadro chemistry contest.
I charge $15 per hour, with one free trial class (can be arranged once contacted).
