About Jed
I am a maths nerd who is taking a break from Uni for personal reasons. While I am somewhat new at professional tutoring, the students sitting next to me would often joke that I am the reason they passed Specialist maths.

My aim when teaching is for the students to have an understanding of the underlying principles of the subject, rather than simply rote learning a list of formulae. The reason for this is that while learning formulae is faster, they are often forgotten after a short period of time, whereas with an understand of the principles, you can remake the formulae when you forget them.
