About Michelle
Get help from an educator who has 31 years of experience and has worked with thousands of students at all different levels and abilities to succeed in the areas of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Chemistry, Geometry, Physical Science, and Middle School Math. I have also been a Principal who has aligned curriculum and am very familiar with grade level skills K-12 in Math and Science. I am eager to help students gain confidence in their skills and help reduce frustration with struggling students. I helped/tutored all 3 of my children through High School and each earned full-tuition scholarships at a Division 1 college. I am a highly energetic, upbeat professional with 31 years of teaching and administrative experience. I feel very comfortable and confident I can help you in all areas of Math and Science ranging from Kindergarten to high school. I have over 15 years of experience teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Chemistry, Physical Science, and middle school math. I give many examples that build up to the concept being taught and use visual aids when appropriate. With 31 years of educational experience, I have different ways to teach a concept. I try to create confidence in all my students and meet them at their level. Many of my students are surprised that the hour is over so quickly as I try to have fun while teaching a concept.
