About Souhardya
Souhardya De is an Indian author of historical fiction, an art and culture columnist, and a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. De was awarded the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, highest civilian honour under 18, for contributions to Indian art and culture, by the President of India, in 2021. He was further presented with an honorary Colonelcy of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, US by Governor Andy Beshear, and a Gold Award in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay competition, patronised by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall. De is currently engaged in producing his upcoming work with the National Book Trust, Government of India, under the Prime Minister’s YUVA Mentorship Scheme, under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
