About Laura

I am a fully qualified, Teaching Council-registered primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.

I have experience teaching across a range of primary school class levels, including mainstream classrooms and special educational settings. I am passionate about helping children develop confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.

I am a patient, enthusiastic and approachable teacher who understands that every child learns differently. I believe in creating a positive, supportive and encouraging learning environment where children feel valued, motivated and comfortable working at their own pace.

I have a particular interest in literacy, numeracy and supporting children who may need additional guidance or confidence in their learning.

My goal is to help every child recognise their strengths, overcome challenges and reach their full potential while making learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

About the lesson

As a qualified and experienced primary school teacher, I offer engaging, supportive and personalised lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.

My lessons focus on building confidence, developing essential skills and encouraging a positive attitude towards learning. I provide support across all areas of the primary school curriculum, with particular emphasis on English, Maths, reading, phonics, spelling and literacy development.

I use a variety of creative, interactive and child-centred teaching approaches to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Each lesson is carefully adapted to suit the child's learning style, pace and areas requiring additional support.

My aim is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, developing independence and reaching their full potential.
