About Karen
I am a kind and supportive teacher who just wants children to learn and understand. I encourage conversation so I can understand the learning problems children have and help them. I have a B.Ed and M.Ed in education and have been a classroom teacher for 28 years and have also been a SATs marker. I have been an assistant head and led and inspired teachers and pupils. I have always got positive results in my teaching as I spend time listening to the children’s needs and organising the work accordingly.
I am DBS checked and hold a current certificate.

I’m here to help.
I’m supportive, kind and understand children but I have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience that can help your child learn basic English and Maths concepts. My lessons are 1 hour and we will play games, do written tasks and use everyday objects to help learn concepts. I have tutored many children to help them achieve. The biggest thing I do is bring confidence to children in their learning.
