About Verity
Hi there.
My name is Verity and I have been teaching in a variety of Primary Schools for 24 years. I have taught children just like you (from Reception to Year 6) during my teaching career and love to see how you develop your knowledge, skills and understanding throughout your time with me.
We will make and celebrate our mistakes as I know that they are the only way we learn.
I am excited to find out about what you enjoy and how you like to learn so that we can work as a team to achieve your success.

My 24 experience allows me to work with all primary aged(up to Year7 aged) children in all areas of the primary curriculum. I am currently teaching Year 6 so can provide support and training for SATs. I have worked with children of all abilities including 14 years working with SEND children (including ASC and those with emotional and behavioural challenges).
My teaching begins with building a relationship with your child and working towards meeting their emotional as well as academic needs. My as I know that when children feel safe and happy, they can learn. I am skilled in creating bespoke learning packages for a range of abilities, which also aim to meet your child's 'readiness to learn' needs.
