About Ece

I am a young, qualified primary school teacher who is passionate about helping children feel confident and capable in their learning. Because I work with children every day and am closer in age to many of the parents and pupils, I feel I can easily relate to and understand the challenges children face in the classroom.
I want to tutor because I know that some pupils can begin to feel left behind or think they are “not smart enough” when they find certain subjects difficult. With the right support, encouragement, and teaching approach, every child can improve and feel proud of their progress.
My goal is to create a supportive and positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, building their subject knowledge, and developing the confidence they need to succeed in school.

About the lesson

I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching children aged 5–11 across the full primary curriculum, including English, maths, science, reading, spelling, handwriting, and humanities subjects. I have graduated from St Mary's University, Twickenham (Ofsted outstanding since 2011 and the UK’s Number 1 education course (Daily Mail University Guide 2024).
I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where children feel confident to ask questions and develop their understanding at their own pace. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while also helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
I can support pupils with general primary school learning, targeted help in English and maths, reading and phonics development, spelling and handwriting, as well as preparation for Key Stage 2 SATs. I tailor each session to the child’s individual needs, using a range of activities and resources to make learning enjoyable and effective.
As a current classroom teacher, I have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the expectations placed on pupils in school. My goal is to help each child make progress, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
