About Sophie
Hi! I’m a 30-year-old primary teacher who has been teaching since 2018. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach most primary year groups, giving me experience supporting children with a wide range of ages, abilities and learning needs.
Outside of teaching, I’m a keen traveller and love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. I’m happiest when I’m outdoors, whether that’s hiking, rowing or simply enjoying some fresh air. I also enjoy going to the gym, Pilates and curling up with a good book.
I’m passionate about helping children enjoy learning and feel confident in their abilities. I believe lessons should be positive, engaging and tailored to each child, and I love seeing the progress they make as their confidence grows.

My online lessons are designed to make Maths and English fun, engaging and accessible for primary-aged children. As a primary teacher, I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, interests and learning style. Whether your child needs support with a particular topic, wants to build confidence, or would benefit from an extra challenge, I create a friendly and encouraging environment where they can learn at their own pace. My lessons are interactive and enjoyable, helping children develop their knowledge, skills and confidence while making learning something they look forward to!
