About Muhammad

My name is Muhammad Haroon, and I am a dedicated and responsible Math tutor with a strong academic background in Computer Science. I have always had a deep interest in Mathematics, particularly in logical thinking and problem-solving, which are essential skills for young learners.

I understand that every student learns at a different pace. That is why I maintain a patient, supportive, and structured teaching style. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes, because real learning happens through understanding, not memorization.

As a tutor, I take professionalism seriously. I prepare lessons in advance, arrive on time, and ensure that each session has clear objectives and measurable progress. I communicate clearly and respectfully, and I focus on building both academic skills and student confidence.

Parents can expect consistency, reliability, and genuine commitment from me. I aim to help students aged 7 to 14 develop strong mathematical foundations that will support them throughout their academic journey.

About the lesson

As a Maths tutor, I focus on building strong foundations and logical thinking skills in students aged 7 to 14. My goal is not only to help students solve problems but to make them truly understand why each step works. I believe that when concepts are clear, confidence naturally improves.

My teaching method is structured and interactive. I first assess the student’s current level to identify strengths and gaps. Then I break down topics into small, simple steps using real-life examples. I encourage students to explain answers in their own words so I can ensure they fully understand the concept.

A typical lesson with me begins with a short review of previous work, followed by introduction of a new concept. I demonstrate step-by-step problem solving, then guide the student through practice questions. Towards the end, we solve exam-style or challenge questions to strengthen problem-solving skills and confidence.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my patient approach and focus on clarity. As a Computer Science student, I naturally teach Maths in a logical and systematic way. I emphasize strong fundamentals in arithmetic, fractions, algebra, and early problem-solving so students build confidence for higher-level Maths in the future.

My lessons are suitable for primary and lower secondary students, including Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and early Key Stage 3 learners who need help with homework, exam preparation, or concept building.
