About PRAMITI
My name is Pramiti, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background and a heart for teaching. I hold a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geography from Presidency University, Kolkata, and completed my M.A. in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. I am also qualified for the UGC NET (2019) for Assistant Professorship. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of guiding students across various boards, primarily from ICSE/ISC, and CBSE—from Classes I to XII. I currently teach all subjects for Classes I–V, and English and Social Sciences for Classes VI–X. For senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII), I specialize in Geography. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each child’s pace and needs. My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured—helping students not only understand concepts but also enjoy the learning journey. In my class we take an interdisciplinary approach- this allows the student to have a more holistic understanding of what they are learning in class. Contrary to rote learning which students dread, my classes focus on conceptual clarity, and connecting with other lessons- which has shown marked improvement in the child's overall grade.
-Classes are meant for ISCE/ISC and CBSE students only.
-Students in XI & XII are preferred, but other classes are taught too.
-Spoken English training is also provided.
-Classes will be conducted primarily in English (strictly in English for English classes), with ad-hoc vernacular support as and when the student requires.
I keep my batch sizes small to provide tailored attention to the individual needs of the students. Hence, enrollment is subject to vacancy and is on a first-come-first-served basis.
