About Hannah

Hello! My name is Hannah, I have been a private tutor for 8+ years and have a BA in Cognitive Science from Rice University.

I am the Co-Founder and former Head Tutor of Robins Nest Tutoring LLC, and have led and trained 100+ professional tutors. Through Robins Nest's College Branch, I have personally guided students who have been accepted into Princeton, Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Rice, Berkeley, USC, and other top universities.

I am also an ex-admissions officer for Rice University (#10 Top University on Niche; #17 Top University in US News).

My tutoring approach is structured, personalized, and results-driven, giving families confidence that their child is receiving premium, professional, and academically rigorous instruction. About the lesson

My approach is personalized and results-driven, using targeted diagnostics, custom lesson plans, and individualized practice materials. Instruction is built around each student’s unique learning style and adapts to their learning pace, goals, and strengths.

With 8+ years of tutoring experience, strong communication, and a proven system, I ensure students stay motivated and consistently improving. Every session features: concept reviews, guided problem-solving, mastery checks and progress tracking, and customized curriculum and assignments.

General math lessons are ideal for students in grades 2–7 who want structured support and meaningful academic progress. For older students, I also offer Early College Admissions Guidance — see profile for full details.

We begin with a pre-assessment to determine current level, strengths, and areas for growth. A fully customized curriculum is then built to match the student’s learning style and goals. Support is available for both struggling and accelerated / promising learners.
