About Spencer
Growing up I was fortunate enough to attend a science high school (Bronx Science), get a college science degree (Nutritional Science), and be a masters student (at Boston University) applying to medical school. You'd imagine with so much exposure to science I would be naturally good at it. Wrong! Science was not always easy. But with help and perseverance I overcame those challenges and found much success, even in graduate level Biochemistry! I am proof that anyone can be a great student, even if a subject is not your forte. So if you need help with Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemistry, I am available!
My chief motivation to be a tutor is to empower students to know for themselves that they can succeed, even in classes that feel challenging :) I truly believe everyone has the ability to learn anything they set their minds to.

I can help students with study habits, conceptual understanding, and homework/exam prep! Giving me material you want to go over prior to appointments would be super helpful, but not required. So format wise, my tutoring style is very flexible :)
