About Syan
I’m Syan, and I’m a GCSE student studying Spanish, Mandarin and Business Studies as my options. I am a predicted and currently Grade 9 student in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, often working at a level higher than expected at GCSE level. I also study English Literature and Language, Maths (Higher), Further Maths, Triple (aka Separate) Science and Religious studies.

I'd like to offer Mandarin Chinese tutoring to KS3 and GCSE students up to Year 11. I am a post-GCSE student who has just completed the course last month, and I am predicted Grade 9 (A*) - often working at a higher standard than expected at GCSE. My lessons follow a gamified approach, keeping the student both engaged and motivated to learn. The lessons are moulded to suit the student's interests and age so that they can learn what matters most to them. A lesson usually lasts from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your preferences. As stated above, I have just completed the GCSE in the subject. I may not have formally tutored anyone before, however I have experience in tutoring fellow classmates and helping them gain high grades as well. The lessons will be tailored for students from years 7 to 11, however are open to anyone wanting to gain a basic understanding of the language, history and culture of China!
