About Maryam
I'm a dedicated and approachable tutor with a genuine passion for helping students reach their academic potential. As a high-achieving A-level student predicted AAA* in Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics, I understand the demands of GCSEs and know the strategies that lead to success. I create a supportive, patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. Outside of academics, I enjoy programming, playing netball, and debating, all of which have strengthened my problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills. I'm committed to helping every student achieve their goals through engaging, well-structured lessons.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, focusing on building understanding rather than memorisation. I explain concepts step by step, work through exam-style questions, and share effective revision and exam techniques to improve confidence and grades. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but can be adjusted if needed. I am predicted AAA* in Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics, have achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, and have experience supporting GCSE and A-level students in one-to-one settings. My lessons are ideal for GCSE Maths and Science students who want to strengthen their understanding, prepare for exams, or achieve top grades.
