I'm a foodie! I love to bake and cook in my spare time, along with playing soccer and beach volleyball with the occasional hip-hop class!

Aside from that, I love working with children and youth. My goal is to become a pediatrician and would love to learn from you as well, learning your personal learning style and finding the appropriate support you need to help maximize your strengths and improve your weaknesses. Collaboration is the key of my approach.

Typically, my lessons begin with a thorough assessment of the student's proficiency level in the respective subject. This assessment helps me identify their strengths and weaknesses, enabling me to create a customized lesson plan. Whether it's homework assistance, exam preparation, or tackling specific projects, I adapt my teaching style to meet the student's current requirements.

A typical lesson plan includes a combination of interactive discussions, problem-solving exercises, and practical applications of the concepts. I ensure that the student understands the fundamental concepts and gradually build upon them, fostering a strong foundation. Regular communication with parents or guardians is crucial, as I keep them updated on the child's progress and collaborate to create an at-home routine tailored to the student's Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive experience working with students of various age groups, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 10, who may have intellectual disabilities. This experience has honed my ability to adapt and tailor my teaching methods to suit the unique needs of each student. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

My lessons are designed for students who require assistance in Math, Science, and English, irrespective of their academic level. I specialize in providing support for students with intellectual disabilities, and my goal is to help them build confidence in their academic abilities, enabling them to achieve their academic goals and succeed in their educational journey.
