About Eda

Hi! I’m a dedicated math tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I’ve consistently earned A’s in all my math classes, including AP Pre-Calculus, and I’ve received multiple math awards for my performance. I have a deep understanding of math concepts from Pre-Algebra all the way through Trigonometry and Pre-Calc. What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, relatable way. I’m patient, supportive, and committed to helping each student build both skill and confidence. Whether you're aiming to boost your grades, prep for a test, or just feel more comfortable with math, I’m here to help you every step of the way. Let’s make math make sense—together.

About the lesson

As a math tutor, I focus on building real understanding—not just memorizing steps. I break concepts down in a simple, relatable way so they actually make sense. I use real-life examples when I can, and I adjust my explanations based on how each student learns best—whether they’re visual, hands-on, or need things explained a few different ways. I’m super patient and I never judge—math struggles are normal, and I make sure students feel comfortable asking questions.

Typical Lesson Flow

Quick Check-In: We start by reviewing any recent homework, tests, or confusing topics

Concept Breakdown: I go over the topic step-by-step with clear explanations and examples

Practice Time: We solve problems together, then I give you a chance to try on your own

Tips & Tricks: I share helpful shortcuts, test strategies, and ways to avoid common mistakes

Wrap-Up: I make sure you fully understand before we finish, and I leave you with a quick review plan or goal for next time

What Makes Me Different

I’m a high school student too, so I totally get the struggle and explain things in a chill, non-intimidating way

I’ve taken AP Pre-Calc and gotten A’s in every math class—plus I’ve won math awards

I make things click by connecting topics to stuff that actually makes sense, not just textbook speak

I focus on confidence and skills—because being good at math starts with believing you can be
