About Josie
I am an award-winning practising artist with a First Class Fine Art degree from DJCAD, exhibiting and hosting workshops across Europe, including the Royal Scottish Academy. With over five years’ experience, I work with young people and support creative development.

My tutoring approach is student-centred, practical, and tailored to each individual’s goals. I support A-Level art students who are preparing for university by helping them develop strong ideas, technical confidence, and a clear creative direction. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing space for experimentation, discussion, and reflection.
I focus on portfolio development, conceptual thinking, and critical analysis, helping students understand not just how to make work, but why they are making it. I encourage independent thinking while providing clear guidance, constructive feedback, and achievable next steps.
