About Kin

With 7 years of experience as a Flute teacher, I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who wish to learn flute in a structured and supportive way.

My teaching philosophy focuses on consistency, encouragement, and proper technique. I believe learning music should be motivating and enjoyable. I adjust lessons to suit each student’s pace and goals.

My classes cover breathing techniques, tone development, finger accuracy, rhythm practice, and expressive playing. I also guide students in music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation.

A key achievement in my teaching journey is helping students perform successfully in academic programmes, cultural events, and stage performances. Many students have shown steady improvement and confidence.

My goal is to support students as a mentor and help them grow musically.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology focuses on practical learning, understanding, and open communication. I use real-life examples and case studies to make flute lessons relatable and meaningful. I take time to understand each student’s learning style, strengths, and goals, tailoring lessons to suit their needs.

Communication is central; I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and reflect on their progress. Integrity is at the heart of my teaching—I provide honest feedback while motivating students to achieve their full potential.

Beyond flute technique, I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and performance strategies to help students build a strong musical foundation. This approach nurtures technical skill, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
