About Fernanda

It has been more than 10 years since I started working with Adobe programs, and as a curious and self-taught person over the years. Today, I have helped more than 50 students in private classes inside and outside Brazil.

When I studied Architecture and Urbanism I developed my skills further, discovering other programs from the same manufacturer, such as Illustrator and Indesign.

The programs complement each other and, because they follow the same line, when you learn one, the others are absorbed more quickly. Depending on the demand and the work to be done I recommend different programs. For image editing and simple assemblies, Photoshop is the best solution. For vectorization, creation of elaborate graphic pieces and presentation boards, Illustrator is the most adequate.

Indesign also provides good tools for assembling artwork, but its focus is on the layout of longer materials such as books and large presentations. In the classes I offer, the software and its working possibilities will be introduced, as well as its interface and main tools. I will also provide a summary of what was done and seen during the class so that the student can record what was done and seen during the class. Besides the basics of the program, the idea is that the classes are synchronized with the student's objective, whether for leisure, academic or professional use!

The methodology is designed mainly according to the student's needs, i.e., if your goal is to finish an academic work, all the classes will be based on this goal and during the class, through guided exercises, you will finish your work.

If your goal is to create artwork for your social networks (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) the classes will be dedicated to that, also trying to understand the audience of your networks and the product or service to be offered.

If it is of interest to the student, the classes can be recorded and made available for later and individual consultation.

About the lesson

I am an Architect and Urban Planner graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and a Master in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). I have taught Architecture Design classes and have helped more than 50 students in + 5 countries with different goals.

I am self-taught in Adobe programs and worked with Photoshop before entering college. I am a big fan and enthusiast of Adobe programs because I believe they have extreme versatility and meet different demands.

I have great experience with academic presentation layout (especially in the area of architecture) as well as identity creation for resumes and portfolios. I have also worked on visual identity, collages, montages, and image editing.

In the first class I try to understand the student's needs and goals in order to establish a schedule and a class plan according to each request.

In any case, I try to introduce the program through its interface while instructing and indicating the best tools to accomplish the desired work.
In many cases I work with more than one program simultaneously, which creates more confidence in the student to take risks and practice the compatibilities offered by Abode's programs.

The classes are held through Zoom, where you can share your screen and I can request control, and then orient, explain, and point out the main tools. Thus, from the first class, you learn right on your computer!
