About Eliana

I became fascinated with vocal health after watching a close friend struggle with a serious vocal injury caused by years of poorly guided singing habits that nobody had caught in time. That experience pushed me to study vocal anatomy and injury prevention deeply alongside standard performance technique so I could genuinely protect the students who trust me with their instrument. My teaching background blends performance training with practical knowledge more commonly found among vocal health specialists and speech therapists. I take vocal safety seriously in every single lesson because I believe no short-term performance goal is worth risking a student's long-term vocal health. Students who work with me often mention feeling more aware of their own body and breath than they ever did in previous lessons elsewhere. Eight years into this specialized focus I remain genuinely passionate about making sure singing stays something people can enjoy safely for their entire lives rather than something that quietly damages them.

About the lesson

My teaching centers on protecting vocal health as the foundation for everything else a singer eventually wants to achieve rather than treating it as a side concern. Every lesson opens with body alignment and tension checks because I have seen how poor posture quietly sabotages tone and eventually causes real vocal strain over time. I teach students to recognize early warning signs of vocal fatigue and build habits that prevent overuse injuries long before they become serious problems requiring rest or medical attention. Breathing exercises are approached almost like physical therapy work isolating the diaphragm and ribcage movement so students understand exactly what healthy support actually feels like in their own body. I discourage pushing through hoarseness or discomfort during lessons and instead use those moments to teach students how to genuinely listen to their instrument. Warm downs after intense singing sessions receive as much attention as warm ups because recovery is part of sustainable technique too. My ultimate goal is giving students a technique that protects their voice for decades rather than one that produces short term results at long term cost.
