About Louise
I am currently an MRes student at UCL studying Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology. I study at the Anna Freud Centre and next year I will be completing my research thesis at Yale University as part of my course.
I have tutored four Psychology students in the past, all of whom achieved their target grades at school. One student in particular achieved an A in their exam despite being predicted a C. I have tutored formally and informally for about 4 years now and have a great understanding of exam boards for Psychology.
I am professional, but friendly, and hope to help and inspire psychology students achieve their full potential in their exams.

I like to focus on the topics that you find most challenging and begin with a content explanation, before diving into the exam-style questions. After a better understanding of the topic, I then focus on revision techniques and 'buzz words' to help retrieve the information in an exam-setting.
My lessons will primarily be for GCSE and A-Level psychology students. In order to get the most out of a lesson I recommend between 1-1.5 hour sessions once or twice a week, depending on the intensity of assistance required. This can be done virtually or in person, dependent on location.
For students looking to apply to University to study Psychology I also offer assistance in personal statement writing to best shape your application for a psychology course position.
