About Rosheena

I have assisted in English lessons across year 7, 10 and 11, preparing the year 10 and 11 students for their GCSE examinations and helping to encourage year 7 students to develop their reading and literacy skills, as well as their creative writing through inspiring them. In addition, in my second term at university, I completed an eight-week York Students in Schools placement in a local primary school, during which I helped pupils with reading as well as classroom activities.

About the lesson

After having achieved grade 9 for both Literature and Language GCSE, I decided I would like to share my passion for English with others. My teaching approach is one of patience, I like to be open-minded, considering alternative interpretations to any text studied, as that is part of the beauty of the subject. I studied English Literature at degree level, and hope to share my passion and love of English through my teaching.
