About Ping
As a tutor/teacher/coach, I offer an interesting mix of tuition in science subjects, mathematics and ballroom dance, for students of all ages and stages of their education/career. My education and training is science- and dance-based, and have a wealth of teaching experience.
Science Background: I have a Masters in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry, and PhD-level training in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Materials. I have experience in Degree-level Organic, Pharmacy (and related subjects), Materials, Inorganic, Physical, Theoretical, Analytical and Biological Chemistry. I'm also able to teach Mathematics.
Dance Background: I am a Professional Ballroom Dancer representing England in both national and international competitions. As a Dance Teacher & Coach, I am fully qualified and have over 5 years of experience in competitive level teaching.

I provide tutoring based on a collaborative learning approach, and always aim to strike a good balance between study/review periods and tests. We'll focus on building your subject knowledge through problem solving, critical thinking & reflection, resulting in adaptable, life-long learners, whatever your career.

To provide the best teaching experience possible, all rates include preparation of lesson materials and lesson/study plans.
I offer an additional discount for high school/college students (10%), and university and senior students (5%).
A 48 hour cancellation period applies to all lessons.
