About Janet
My experience of five years in teaching a wide range of learners has aided me to understand the diversity of English Studies and its ever-growing integration with myriad other disciplines. As a result, I have the mettle to mould my pedagogy according to the audience.
I bring a playfulness to every class that has helped my students relax and not stress while trying to grasp novel concepts. I apply different methods of teaching to gauge the most suitable one for every individual and this has helped students in increasing their knowledge within their comfort zone or shared context.
I'm a disciplined individual who finds it satisfying to end each day’s tasks with a checked off to-do list. I like being organized and punctual but this hasn’t stopped me from working in harmony with learners who have different strengths and weaknesses than mine.

My experience in comprehensive lesson plans, curriculum development, interpersonal skills, and communication will give you
simple methods of learning in small and achievable tasks in every class. I'd be breaking down complex plot twists or theories with relatable illustrations that has proven to help my students in building a connection with Literature and sustaining that spark of interest. I will also employ guided writing/ working in flip classrooms that would get most of your work done within class time, thereby leaving the rest of your day for other tasks.
