About Yuhan
I am a mathematics postdoc at UC Berkeley with a PhD in mathematics and extensive experience teaching and mentoring students. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a clear and intuitive way. I can tutor a wide range of subjects, including calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, combinatorics, and higher-level university mathematics. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics.

My lessons focus on building a clear and rigorous understanding of mathematics. I adapt each session to the student’s background and goals, whether that means reviewing course material, working through problem sets, preparing for exams, or improving proof-writing skills. I encourage students to think through problems independently while providing guidance when needed. My goal is to make difficult concepts more intuitive and help students become confident problem solvers.
