About Kashish

I am a psychology postgraduate with a strong interest in understanding human behaviour and making psychological knowledge accessible and meaningful. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas that students can easily grasp and apply in real life. I want to teach psychology because I believe it is a subject that helps individuals better understand themselves and others. Having worked closely with children and young people, including those with special educational needs, I have seen how the right guidance and learning approach can build confidence and curiosity. Teaching allows me to combine my academic background, practical experience, and passion for helping students develop critical thinking skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on asking open-ended and reflective questions that encourage students to think critically and explore ideas beyond rote learning. I use a range of teaching techniques, including multiple real-life examples, case studies, and guided questioning, to help students relate abstract concepts to practical situations. Lessons typically last between 45 minutes to 1 hour, as this is an optimal duration for maintaining focus and engagement while allowing sufficient time for discussion and clarification. My lessons are suitable for all age groups.
