About Hina
I am a self motivated individual who began a career in teaching through voluntary experiences. Having enjoyed working with children, I became a Teaching Assistant in a local school. This inspired me to take on a more assertive role within a classroom and eventually led me to complete a PGCE to become a qualified class teacher.
I thoroughly enjoy watching children grow and develop into young people. I believe that we, as adults, should support future generations in becoming successful, confident and self inspired individuals. By tutoring and mentoring children, I believe I will make valuable contributions to their lives which will increase their chances of achieving success.

I am an experienced and qualified Primary School Teacher and have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
I believe that teaching should encourage young children to explore their minds, thoughts and ideas. The natural inquisitiveness of young minds eventually leads children to their success.
In approximately one hour, I typically aim to teach Maths and/or English to Primary aged children (EYFS - Year 6) tailored to their individual needs.
I also cover material/learning required for children to pass the 11+ entrance exams.
Foundation subjects (ie. Science, History or Geography) can be taught upon request.
During lessons, students can typically expect a recap on prior knowledge to assess gaps. This will assist in building on existing concepts to develop new ones through teacher led modelling and scaffolding.
