I have a BSc degree in both physics and botany, I have been a peer tutor in my high school days and I have been offering extra lessons part time while pursuing my degree.

I try take a subject specific approach, so that each topic can be dealt with in an effective way.
For physics sessions I focus on solving questions conceptually first, meaning that even those who struggle somewhat with the mathematical side can learn to figure out how to approach questions without getting flustered by all the numbers.
In the maths lessons I like to delve into the logical reasoning that forms the basis of what needs to be learnt. From there we can build understanding of the concepts, rather than being taught to simply remember equations without knowing why any of them are used.
