About Maria
I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to Montreal on my late teens. I graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor specialization in Acting for the Theatre. Today I teach Portuguese to students who enjoy learning with an artistic approach.

The first lessons will help the student learn how to approach the language. We will go over key basic points of the language with the use of more formal material. Then we start to layer the learning with a more artistic approach, looking into the Brazilian culture through music, dance, theatre, history, and much more.
