About Ana
Hi there! I am a first-year undergraduate student at the University of York focusing my studies on politics, philosophy and economics. I am completely understanding of problems and insecurities with mathematics, having studied it for basically my entire academic journey I have not been a stranger to the frustration of being stuck at the same grade or on the same concept, however with consistent smarter ways of working I will ensure you will overcome any troubles you face and reach your desired outcome for your exams.

Lessons would usually last a maximum of two hours as I believe anything over this would cause a "burn out". My approach to maths tutoring is heavily centred around exam practice and active recall, I would curate specific homework based on the student's year group and curriculum whilst also tackling areas in which they feel less confident. During sixth form I tutored GCSE students ranging from year 9-11 for either their in-class exams, mocks or the GCSE. My lessons are mainly targeted for secondary school students as their performance in the GCSE maths exam is crucial in navigating their future academic choices and subsequently careers.
