About Emma
I am a motivated and enthusiastic tutor with experience teaching both English and French. I enjoy helping students of all ages develop their language skills and gain confidence in their learning. Beyond grammar and vocabulary, I believe that learning a language is also about discovering the culture behind it, and I love sharing the richness of French culture with my students. In my free time, I love reading and exploring new ideas, which I bring into my lessons to keep them engaging and inspiring. Whether you are looking to improve your conversation skills, prepare for an exam, or simply enjoy learning a new language, I will adapt to your needs and support you every step of the way.

I adapt my lessons to the needs of each student, whether child, teenager, or adult. My teaching style is flexible and student-centred: I focus on what you require, whether it’s grammar, conversation, exam preparation, or building confidence in speaking French. A typical lesson lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on what suits the student best. I have gained valuable experience through regular tutoring and working as a school supervisor, which has given me strong skills in supporting and guiding children. As the eldest of three younger sisters, I also know how to balance patience with encouragement in order to create a positive learning environment. French is my first language, and I am fluent in English and Spanish. This allows me to adapt my lessons to different ages, levels, and backgrounds. My sessions are open to anyone who wants to learn or improve their French, from beginners to advanced learners.
