I have been teaching since 2006 with a Masters in Education and fully qualified with the PGCE. I have taught Politics, History and Classical Civilisation across Secondary and Sixth Form levels.
Alongside this, I have lectured in university - specifically on the Teacher Training courses.

I stood as a candidate in the May 2024 Local Elections. This was eye-opening to contrast theoretical Politics as a teacher for so many years with the actual reality of campaigning. Definitely something I will bring into my lessons in the future.
Specialist in Edexcel/ AQA Government & Politics. I often teach through recent examples - using real events to add depth to lessons.
I currently teach all 8 UK Politics chapters as well as 4 Ideologies chapters and US Comparative Politics. I also cover the Global Politics section for year 2.
Teaching in the UK education system since 2006.
The focus of my approach is on exam practice and using past papers to understand assessment methods.
