About Elisa
Hello! My name is Elisa. I offer low-pressure, friendly online English tutoring for B1–C1 English learners and parents of K–8 students looking for extra support with writing, grammar, or simply building confidence and comfort with English. I’m a Political Science undergrad and bilingual in Spanish and English. I used to tutor ESL students back in high school, and I’ve done a lot of community-based work that involves writing, communication, and helping people feel heard. I genuinely enjoy helping others with language in a way that’s clear, supportive, and judgment-free. I'm especially good at breaking things down simply and I want to make sure students feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how small! :)

My goal is to make this process fun and engaging. I will make sure every lesson is stimulating your thinking neurons and improving your skills. You/your student will leave my class feeling full of knowledge! How it works: We’ll meet on Zoom or Google Meet, and use Google Docs to work together in real time. I’ll guide you through whatever you need, whether that’s cleaning up sentences, getting unstuck on an essay, or learning how to make your writing sound more natural and clear, etc. In a typical session, we might: Start with a quick warm-up (like a fun writing prompt) Focus on a grammar or spelling concept in a way that makes sense Write together using Google Docs Grow your creativity and imagination Talk through what’s working, what’s confusing, and set goals for next time I want to always support you in a way that feels easy to follow, personalized, and motivating. I can help with: Grammar and sentence structure Spelling and writing clarity Essay writing (thesis, structure, flow) Creative writing and storytelling ESL support (especially for Spanish-speaking learners) All you need is Zoom or Google Meet, a Gmail account for Docs, and a willingness to learn. I will meet you at your current level and support your growth from there. Optional light homework or practice is available if you'd like it!
