About Sade

I love teaching because it is a great opportunity to get to know others, how they think, what inspires them, creating & learning together! Personal & overall development is my way of always growing, I always keep a flexible attitude towards this & encourage this sort of progression for others, especially my students. Teaching is an exchange of energy, time & knowledge within a safe space to explore the curiosity of the mind. What better way to enhance the way we think & view the world around us than to be in a position to do so with others? A classroom environment is one where you can be positively stimulated & trained to move in the direction you were always meant to.

About the lesson

I am a native English speaker, with 5 plus years of teaching experience. This includes both online and in classroom teaching, as well as Summer/Winter camps. Having the opportunity to teach and tutor different levels, such as kindergarten, elementary and junior-high, I applied integrative and innovative teaching methods to appropriately address my students' needs. I've taught large and small group sizes varying from 2-5 students up to 20 and 50 students at a time. Needless to say I have learnt to adapt my skills and initiate creative teaching styles to support the needs of the class. I am flexible and enjoy engaging with my students to ensure a fun learning experience for all involved. I implement special leadership, classroom management and problem-solving skills which have supported student achievement in the classroom. One of my achievements include a certificate for emotional intelligence, this sets me apart, along with being empathetic and honing my interpersonal and communication skills along with my personal development and growth, as a teacher, has benefited my students and family relationships. These have all set me up to be the ideal tutor to cater to your unique needs.
