About Alaina
"Beginners and intermediate players often find hand independence to be a genuine mental hurdle. I have taught 328 students over 13 years.
Chord voicing, sight reading, dynamics, and expression are my core focus areas. I earned an Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies at the Royal College of Music.
These skills translate directly to the keyboard. I believe in theory and ear training for every student. Let us refine your technique to reach the clarity you want."

"Technical precision matters, even when playing for simple enjoyment. I teach students to treat the piano as an extension of their own internal rhythm. Having logged 13 years in the studio, I know exactly where students stall. My Artist Diploma background informs how I explain harmonic structures.
We focus on sight playing and transposition early on. Scales and arpeggios are never skipped. This work builds the foundation you need. We will move towards your musical goal."
