About Kahina
I have more than 6 years of experience teaching piano to college students and am dedicated to helping them achieve musical success. My teaching approach is creative, student-focused, and flexible, allowing learners to progress comfortably and confidently. I focus on strong piano fundamentals, including technique, music theory, rhythm, and sight-reading. I use innovative methods such as improvisation, composition projects, and modern music arrangements to keep lessons engaging.
I also help students develop performance confidence and expressive playing. My goal is to guide students toward steady improvement and a lifelong love for piano and music.

My piano teaching approach focuses on creativity, critical thinking, and steady progress. I believe piano learning should be fun, structured, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring different music styles, and learning songs students enjoy. This helps students express themselves and stay motivated.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I teach rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, practical steps. Students learn to analyze their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is a key part of my teaching. I guide students to set clear goals, follow consistent practice routines, and review progress regularly. This builds discipline, motivation, and self-confidence.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm skills, keyboard basics, and simple composition to support well-rounded musical growth.
