About Cody

I am a composer, piano player, arranger, and teacher who loves to explore many different types of music from classical, to jazz, to rock n roll and pop. I like to mix up the repertoire a little bit so that the students' interests are kept engaged. I have played at weddings, in worship services, recitals, Jazz combos and many other groups over the past 15 years.

About the lesson

I am very calm with a lot of students, which I think resonates with them, especially those that could have some nervousness or anxiety about playing music in front of others or feel pressured to perform. Yes, music is a discipline, but it is a continual practice that a student has to diligently work on preferably in a calm state of mind. I do add energy and a bit of a challenge if the student is losing focus. These two things make me an ideal candidate for teaching five year olds up to those who are 65+. I really enjoy answering questions and helping students with different methods of how to practice their music.

Online lessons will be on Zoom.us, unless students wish to meet on some other platform, (Google Hangouts, or FaceTime). Because the lessons are online, I'm offering hour lessons at $30 each. I have a special deal for those who purchase multiple hours of lessons at one time, namely: $100 for purchasing 5 hours (5 lessons) at a time, and $200 for 10 hours or 10 lessons purchased at once.
