Hi, I’m Louie — a songwriter, music producer, and pianist with over 10 years of experience creating and producing music. I’ve spent years developing my own process for writing, arranging, and producing songs that I share online, building a portfolio of original tracks across multiple genres. My approach is simple but effective. Many people struggle to write songs from scratch on the piano even those who have been playing for over 10 years. The reason is often straightforward: they don’t fully understand the underlying principles of songwriting. The truth is, the best songs are usually simple. When you try to overcomplicate things, the music can end up sounding forced or unnatural. In my lessons, I’ll share the methods I’ve developed over the years that allow me to write songs on the spot — something you’ll be able to do and proudly share with friends and family. We’ll also explore the importance of music theory. Music is a lot like maths: there are frameworks and patterns you can learn to build a strong foundation for your songs. From there, I’ll teach you how to add the emotion and expression that can’t be captured by theory alone.
