About Lucia
I’ve been playing instruments my entire life, with over 15 years of piano experience as my primary focus. Music has always been a big part of who I am, and I love sharing that passion through teaching piano and music theory in a supportive, confidence-building way. Alongside piano, I also play guitar, drums, and sing a bit (not quite well enough to teach—but enough to keep lessons fun and musical!). I also hold a degree in psychology and am a registered behavioral technician, which allows me to be especially patient, calm, and adaptable, particularly with young students or learners who benefit from extra structure and encouragement. I pride myself on being professional, reliable, and approachable, and my goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and excited about learning music.

Teaching Method & Techniques
I use a structured but flexible approach, combining technique, music reading, and basic theory. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, learning style, and goals, with lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson includes warm-ups, technique work, guided practice on pieces, and music theory explained in simple terms. For kids, lessons are broken into short, engaging sections to keep focus and motivation high.
What Sets Me Apart
Along with 15+ years of piano experience, I have a degree in psychology and am a registered behavioral technician. This allows me to be especially patient, calm, and effective with young learners or students who need extra structure.
