About Valentina

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have considerable professional training and experience, both feeding into my thriving teaching practice in London.
I have been teaching privately in London for almost a decade.
Performance highlights include Schnittke's Concerto for electric instruments at Queen Elizabeth Hall and world/UK premieres of Prokofiev cantatas.

- Where and with whom did you train?

I trained with Maria Krivenski and Mikhail Kazakevich in piano and with Laura Zakian in singing. I also studied Instrumental and Vocal Teaching at postgraduate level.
I have taken numerous masterclasses and short courses in piano, voice and education.

Hello everyone! I offer bespoke lessons in piano, singing and theory: each lesson is designed for each individual student, according to the student's needs and interests, using a variety of teaching strategies to enhance the learning experience.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £50 per hour, £40 per half hour.
I offer a consultation session free of charge to discuss your aims and my approach.

- Where do you teach?

I teach predominantly online. In-person lessons are by appointment only and not offered on a weekly basis.

- When are you available?

Monday-Friday, please contact me for scheduling queries.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I enjoy teaching all ages and levels and have experience with students from four years old to seventy years old - from absolute beginners to university level performers.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

After careful discussion with the student, we decide together on the most appropriate qualification. No conveyor belt approach here!
