About Yuda
I am an experienced pianist with a rich history of performing recitals across China and the US, achieving recognition in various competitions. As a devoted pedagogue, I bring a passion for teaching to my musical pursuits. During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to receive a selective music scholarship, and I am currently pursuing my master's degree at UCLA, having earned the institution's most prestigious scholarship. I've had the privilege of learning from accomplished pianists and competition winners such as: - Mr. Larry Graham, a protégé of the legendary pianist Van Cliburn, renowned for his People's Choice win at the Queen Elizabeth competition in England, and a former professor at the University of Colorado. - Dr. Inna Faliks, distinguished as the Head of the UCLA piano department and a celebrated international pianist. - Dr. Andrew Staupe, a recipient of numerous international competition awards and a rising star in the world of young pianists. - Mrs. Nancy Weems, a distinguished and award-winning professor from the Van Cliburn International Competition.

I am fluent in both Chinese and English, I can help you get prepared for a recital, a competition… or just learn some pop songs! You will receive very precise instructions on techniques and musicality: how to observe and make self-improvement, how to practice in the most efficient way, how to tackle some extremely difficult techniques, how to shape your music… my experience as a performer has gained me many skills, and I would like to share them with you!
